Purpose…..

Purpose is such a loaded word the true definition is ” an anticipated outcome that is intended or that guides your planned actions”. With that said the true question what is our anticipated outcome, what do we want and how should our Christian faith drive our desired route. My purpose for this blog is to challenge your thoughts, to challenge the way you interact with this society and your responsibility to your values. I hope whether you share my values or not you will enjoy the writings and I hope you will contribute. My “planned actions” is to stir up talk and what place our Christian faith has in our life, do we know our faith, do we share our faith, have we become hypocrites as I have.

My Journey here has been full of twists and turns both with my faith and my knowledge of it.  I have definitely come half circle, to be fair I’m not convinced I was on the circle to began with. I know one thing I am totally depraved and the grace of God is the only thing that has saved me. So the question is what do I owe God. I believe I don’t owe Him, nor does God expect anything from me for his Grace. For me to offer and for Him to ask would take away from the beauty and splendor of its desired purpose. This leaves something though as a saved soul there are still loyalties that must be lived out, Honor to be given, I believe that is the command Paul calls us to in Romans 12:1 “I beseech you brethern, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable, to God, which is your spiritual service.” This verse of scripture is our launching pad for my blog, we could spend the entire time right here. I will leave you with this thought as one reformed soul to another…..”What is our purpose? and how does Paul command play into our lives. For me its this, the sin I have done and the mistakes I have made my be washed away but the cost was not cheap and to not give honor to it takes away price. So this reformed heart will in all ways with all humbleness and total depravity lay myself at the high cost of grace asking what can I do today……
